Rachael Neville

Rachael is an endorsed clinical neuropsychologist and Fellow to the College of Clinical Neuropsychologists. Rachael obtained qualifications in psychology and neuropsychology at Macquarie University and continued her neuropsychology training within hospitals across Sydney. She has experience and training across a range of clinical settings including neurology, geriatrics, cognitive rehabilitation, paediatrics and mental health. Rachael has obtained additional qualifications in Auslan from The Deaf Society and is currently finalising her PhD in vascular cognitive impairment and Alzheimer’s disease.

Rachael is passionate about the provision of evidence-based neuropsychological services for all ages and backgrounds, with a special interest in cognitive rehabilitation. The vision of her practice is to provide high quality assessments and interventions that assist with diagnostic processes, promote cognitive improvement and improve overall well-being, independence and confidence. For paediatric, adult and geriatric populations, this includes cognitive assessment, cognitive rehabilitation, skills training, and psychological support in the context of diagnosed or suspected neurological and neurodevelopmental issues. For paediatric populations specifically, this also includes behaviour intervention and management of school-based issues.


Visnja Vlahovic

Visnja is a clinical neuropsychology registrar who obtained her qualifications in psychology and neuropsychology at Macquarie University, graduating with First Class Honours and completing her Master of Clinical Neuropsychology. She has gained extensive experience and training across a range of clinical settings, including neurology, adult mental health, rehabilitation, aged care, and paediatrics, within both public hospital and private practice environments across Sydney.

Visnja has worked with individuals across the lifespan presenting with a wide range of neurological, psychiatric and neurodevelopmental conditions, including dementias, stroke, multiple sclerosis, functional neurological disorder, schizophrenia spectrum disorders, complex trauma, intellectual disability, ADHD and autism spectrum disorder. She is skilled in neuropsychological assessment, differential diagnosis, capacity assessment, and has experience in cognitive rehabilitation, having independently developed and facilitated a memory skills rehabilitation group for psychiatric inpatients.

Visnja is passionate about delivering patient-centred, trauma-informed care and is committed to fostering independence and self-efficacy. She takes a collaborative, evidence-based approach to assessment and feedback, working closely with patients, their families and multidisciplinary teams to support diagnostic clarity, treatment planning and overall wellbeing.

Gemma is an integral part of our small team here at The Cognitive Health Clinic. She works behind the scenes to ensure the day-to-day operations of the clinic are met.

What are your fees?

Our fees are set in alignment with those recommended by the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc (AAPi).

Are Medicare rebates available?

Medicare rebates may be applicable for some services. A GP referral may also be required. Please contact the clinic for more information. 

Health Insurance?

Some private health insurers will partly supplement the cost of neuropsychological services. Please contact your health fund directly and enquire prior to booking your appointment.

Do I need DR/GP referral?

A referral from your treating doctor is strongly advised but not required. 

Medico-legal?

Depending on the situation, we may provide medico-legal services. Please get in touch with our team to discuss your specific requirements.

Do you assess for ADHD?

Yes. We conduct diagnostic assessments for adults and children for the purposes of identifying and treating ADHD.
